Insert Catchy Title Here...

Writing this is surreal. We had this vision for a combined venture, we joked about this vision, we talked about this vision (we stopped talking about this vision, but we can ignore that bit) and then suddenly here we are. So how do you do a first post? What are the things it should entail?

Well I guess just by saying Welcome!

Welcome to Catalyst, Welcome to the page and Welcome to a vision which we hope you can be on board with, enjoy, share with us and share with all those involved.

We want this to be a chance of unity and a chance of growth. A chance for a community to grow, within our church families, within our youth groups, as well as branching out into the big, wide world.

Hopefully all of us experience joy and love and community in all we do, whether it is through our workplaces, youth groups, churches etc but we still sometimes lose site of the bigger picture, that the world does not stop there, and one thing we shouldn’t forget is that we are all in it together. Everything we do there is a bigger picture. Whoever you are, whatever age, whatever church, you are part of something!

Is it important for a Young Persons voice to be heard? The answer in short… Yes.

But it doesn’t mean it is the only voice which should be heard, it doesn’t make it any more important than others. What it makes it is another voice, another option, another opinion, another chance.

‘Young people are 20% of our population and 100% of our future’ (The Good Childhood Report 2019)

Young People are our future, but we are all part of the now. We are that other 80%. Let’s not forget that.

2019 has been a fantastic year, but 2020 can be bigger and better, especially when all are involved.

Young and Old.

'1 Thessalonians 5:11 – Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.'

We are all part of a bigger picture. We can all make a difference, and an impact, but we can’t do it alone.

Continue to spread the love, spread the word and to enjoy what we do.
